Meet the Benefit Advisors Team

Jerry Den Boer is the Owner and President of Benefit Advisors Insurance Agency and Bluffview Insurance Agency of the Coulee Region. He graduated from the University of Oshkosh with a major in Marketing and a minor in Finance Economy.

In 2007, Jerry began Benefit Advisors, to pursue his own insurance selling career. He has worked for the insurance industry for over 25 years, 22 of which he worked in the Coulee region. He is licensed in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa to offer his clients Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Medicare, Property, and Casualty insurance. He strives to find the “right” insurance for his customers by reviewing options and taking into consideration the needs of his clients. He also likes to meet with them on a more personal level by getting to know them and their specified needs.

Jan Den Boer has been focused on Individual Health (Obamacare) and Medicare since joining the team in 2014. She has 20+ years of health insurance customer service experience. She is licensed in Life, Accident & Health in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Jan focuses on working with individuals and families that do not have the opportunity to join employer sponsored health insurance. Assisting in navigating Medicare transitions is also her passion. She helps take the stress out of this transition, ensuring her client’s needs are met, while providing education and guidance in this process.

Brooke Den Boer has been with Benefit Advisors Insurance Agency since 2009. She graduated from Western Wisconsin Technical College in 2011 with her Associates Degree. She is licensed in Life, Accident & Health, Property & Casualty in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. She oversees all CSR and Sales operations within the Agency along with researching new products. The Insurance Industry is ever changing, and she provides our Agency with the resources to “think outside the box” and offer the best solutions to our clients. She has recently become a member of NABIP (National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals), and a newly elected member of the NABIP board!

Thea Kennedy (pronounced Ta Yah) has been with the Benefit Advisors Insurance Agency team since January 2020. She is licensed in Life, Accident & Health in the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Thea has two Vizslas, Gauge & Ruger that are her companions. We rely on Thea to keep all the plants alive in the office, she has the only “green thumb” amongst the team!
